If you love the distressed denim look, save a few bucks and make your own instead of buying a pair of beat up new jeans. It's as easy as 1,2,3. Ok and 4.
1. Take a pair of jeans and lay flat. Take some sandpaper, and rub it several times on the areas you want to distress.
2. Take a pair of scissors or a razor and cut horizontal slits on the areas you sandpapered.
3. Throw in the washer and dryer.
4. Use tweezers to pull on denim fibers to make the distressed areas look more natural.
