What entitles the perfect omelette?
Surprisingly, it still happens so very often, that I am served an uninspiring omelette, which is why I never order one at a restaurant. You would think, with a dish so simple, that most of us would have learned how to perfect it, but no. So let me show you how.
- fresh eggs
- chopped onions
- chopped tomatos
- dried basil
- dried oregano
- salt and pepper to taste
So, I'm sure you're all like "but thats a basic omelette" - yes. Of course. The trick is in how you cook it. Most omelettes are dry and boring. The secret to a (IMHO) perfect one, is in serving it, when its still a little runny.. it just has more flavor, and is much more enjoyable on a piece of bread, turning this into a complete meal. What a secret! (insert sarcasm)
I will leave you here, and you are welcome. Now slap some Tobasco on that thing, and enjoy it.
